Alokai Console (Prod)

feature: SSO, 2FA, and improved observability across all metrics

This release introduces new security options and upgrades all metrics charts with higher resolution for better visibility into your system.

SSO & 2FA

  • SSO (Single Sign-On) is now supported. Contact your Customer Success Manager to enable it for your organization.
  • 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is available for all users. Enable it anytime under your account settings.

Improved observability

  • CPU and Memory charts in Resources page now show maximum values (MAX) instead of averages (AVG), giving a more accurate view of pod behavior.
  • All metrics charts have been upgraded with higher resolution for better visibility and observability.

update: New UI and Fixes

UI logs

We have introduced a new UI to enhance data display, navigation, and consistency with Alokai branding. We will be gradually rolling out additional features related to the new interface.

We warmly encourage you to share your feedback!

Bugfix

On the Logs page, we have fixed issues with log loading when specific filters were applied, as well as the ability to download logs.

Additionally, we have added a message clarifying that the Status and Method filters for Logs can be applied only after selecting Source: Loadbalancer.

feature: Aggregation of Repeated Logs

logs

To enhance readability and improve the ease of navigating logs, we've introduced a feature that aggregates repeated logs into a single line, with the ability to explore further details. A counter indicates the total number of logs contained within each group.

The aggregation is dynamic and adapts to the applied filters, ensuring that the grouped logs always reflect the current view and context.

Grouping Criteria:

  • Source
    • Message or Value (for app, middleware, pod, and other sources)
    • requestUrl (for load balancer)
  • Method
  • Status
  • Severity

This update aims to streamline log management and provide a clearer overview, making it easier to identify patterns and pinpoint issues efficiently.
